Woman in coma gave birth to a healthy child

This incredible event happened in a hospital in Bavaria, Germany. A 40 year old woman went into a coma when she was in the 13th week of pregnancy, due to a heart attack.
The patient was able to deliver a perfectly healthy child. Currently the child is almost a year and a half, and the secret has been kept deliberately for such a long time. The University Clinic of Erlangen said that this was the first time a woman in persistent vegetative state gave birth to a healthy child, according to Reuters.
